You can use your Halloween decorations in your home or your yard to decorate from trick-or-treaters or to decorate for a Halloween party. Table Decorations

One great way to carry the decorations throughout your entire party is to be sure that you have decorated your refreshment table to match the rest of your party. You can use Target coupons to save on Halloween themed paper plates, and bowls to carry the theme throughout the home. You can use your food as decoration as well by freezing things in the ice cubes and decorating cupcakes and other items to create a spooky table. Add plastic spiders and cobwebs around the table and light a few candles to really set an eerie mood.

Jack-o’-lanterns

If you want a theme that is easy to incorporate, you may want to go with a Jack-o’-lantern theme. You can have a pumpkin carving party and have your friends each carve their own Jack-o’-lantern to decorate your home with. You can carry the theme throughout the month by using the plastic Jack-o’-lanterns you can purchase from stores. You can save on these and other Halloween decorations with Amazon coupons. The plastic trick-or-treat buckets also make a great place to put candy or other treats for your guests to eat. You can set your Jack-o’-lanterns up on the porch and draw giant ones on your windows with paint. You can also create paper ones to hang from your ceiling and to tape to your walls. The invitations for a party can also be Jack-o’-lanterns.

Decorate Your Yard

Often when planning your decorations, you may be focusing on just your home or porch, but it is important to incorporate your yard into your decorations. Inflatables are an easy way to do this. You can use a theme like a zombie theme to decorate your yard and your home. If you use zombies, you may want to start with decorating your yard as a graveyard. You can tape something to your door to make it look like someone was trying to open it with an axe, and you can board up your windows. The inside of your house can follow the traditional Halloween party decorations, but you will have created a yard that will have people talking about in the years to come.

Traditional Decorations

You may want to consider incorporating traditional Halloween decorations into your party, as well. There are some great paper decorations that you can use to decorate your walls, windows and doors. These decorations will last the entire month without being too intrusive into your home. You can use Amazon discount to stock up on the traditional cobwebs and Happy Halloween signs that you may want to put around your home. The pictures of a witch, ghosts and cats are great if you want to create something spooky without scaring the kids with your Halloween decoration ideas.

Haunted House Ideas

One of the best Halloween decoration ideas is to create a haunted house. You can carry this from your yard or garden into your entire home. Start by putting ghosts and graveyard out in your front yard. After that you can have a coffin or a skeleton sitting on your front porch. You can create a spookier home by changing out your light bulbs for colored ones or using cellophane to cover the light fixtures. You can add cobwebs and spiders throughout the house. You can set up a small haunted house for kids to go through and have people jump out at them or rig things to swing down when the door opens. You have the chance to really get creative as you use a variety of Halloween decorations.
